Types of crusher history
In the rapid development of mining machinery industry, sand and gravel industry, construction industry and other burgeoning industry, crushing machines are no longer strangers to us, different types of crushing machine and equipment used in the field doing their outstanding contributions. But, who invented the crushers? When the first time of crusher appeared? Which type of crusher is the earliest?
Jaw crusher history
Jaw crusher has the longest history and first appeared and applied for crushing industry. In fact, crusher was appeared in more than one hundred years ago, after many improvements and become we use pattern in nowadays. In later time, crusher demand of people will be constantly changed.
The first jaw crusher is designed and manufactured by American E.W.B lack in 1858. The structural forms for double cubits plate jaw crusher. Jaw crusher can be used in coarse crushing, also can be used for medium and fineness crushing. Especially used for underground crushing and medium and small mobile crushing plant.
Cone crusher history
Cone crusher is design by American Simmons brother at first and used in concentrator about in 1920. In 1948, the United States A.C Company developed into hydraulic cone crusher. It can adjust discharging mouth to discharge uncrushed material in the crushing cavity when the crusher operating, and make sure the finished products with uniform particle size. In 70s, it developed automatic controller used to control the hydraulic cone crusher.
Cone crusher has big crushing ratio, high efficiency, less power loss, the product of granularity, etc. This type of crusher is applicable to hard rock ore material for secondary crushing or fine and superfine crushing.
Impact crusher history
The impact crusher was applied in the market since the second war (1945), it is a new type of high-efficient crushing equipment. The first impact crusher designer is the Black Dr Doctor. It can be used for cement, asbestos, coal-fired power, glass, chemical industry, building materials and metallurgy, and suitable for coarse, medium and fine crushing to friable materials, such as limestone, asbestos used to factory, coal, calcium carbide etc.
The Impact crushers according cavity can be divided into two cavity type and three cavity type. The hydraulic impact crusher in our company is high efficiency of newly type, and the PF impact crusher is the traditional type.
Conclusion
Jaw crusher is the most common and famous crushing equipment for us, it’s not only by the jaw crusher longest history, but also by its unique working principle characteristics and high working efficiency. The jaw crusher as primary crusher makes sure the secondary crusher (impact crusher and cone crusher in usual) and tertiary crusher operates normally and easily.
Although cone crusher and impact come out later, it also has dozens of years, and the cone crusher history is almost one hundred year. Both this types of crusher is necessary for crushing process in nowadays of mining process. We hope all crusher machines make more contributions to our society and longer history.
